One Hope of Many People: Scholarship

Academia and furthering one's intellectual endeavors is a fundamental factor to our chapter. After all, without higher education, there would be no Sigma Delta Tau.

To foster scholarship, Sigma Delta Tau holds weekly sisterhood study hours in the library and maintains an organized study-buddy system.

Besides this, some of our sisters' scholarly pursuits include but are not limited to PSP, the professional honors fraternity; Sigma Iota Rho, the international honors fraternity; the National Society of Collegiate Scholars; as well as being enrolled in the Global Scholars Program, the Honors Program, and much more.

Additionally, we have had sisters graduate on the Dean's List, Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude. Many alumni sisters have continued their scholarship through graduate school, while others have worked for a myriad of respected offices, such as the State Department, the Embassy of Britain, the Peace Corps, the ALS Association, Hanover Research, RK&K Engineers, American Currentsee Magazine, and more.
